HTML5 for Designers Workshop

Designers attending this two day workshop will receive step by step introduction to using HTML today. The class starts off with a full survey of HTML and CSS, and moves quickly into new HTML5 elements and techniques. Over the course of the two days, attendees will learn about the anatomy of an HTML document and build a demo page that shows off what a web browser really has to offer, leaving with enriched knowledge and a modern, practical approach to HTML and CSS.

Our workshops take a group oriented step-by-step approach, solidifying fundamental concepts and building on them to leave each student with a thorough understanding of the modern front end development practice; what HTML5 is and how to use it. The focus of the first day is on getting a full picture of HTML5 and the open web platform and beginning to implement our test page. On the second day, attendees finish their test pages by implementing examples of what HTML5 is capable of, and share them with the world.
