  Nicolai Ouroussoff, former architecture critic for the New York Time
 s, will revolve around the extension to the Tel Aviv Art Museum by Pre
 ston Scott Cohen, Inc.\nPreston Scott Cohen is the Chair of the Depart
 ment of Architecture and the Gerald M. McCue Professor of Architecture
  at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He is the author of Contest
 ed Symmetries (Princeton Architectural Press, 2001) and numerous theor
 etical and historical essays on architecture. His work has been widely
  published and exhibited and is in numerous collections including The 
 Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Muse
 um, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, Lo
 s Angeles and the Fogg Museum of Art, Harvard. He lectures regularly i
 n prestigious venues around the world. Cohen’s work has been the sub
 ject of numerous theoretical assessments by renowned critics and histo
 rians including Sylvia Lavin, Antoine Picon, Michael Hays, Nikolaus Ku
 hnert, Terry Riley, Robert Somol, Hashim Sarkis and Rafael Moneo. He w
 as the Frank Gehry International Chair at the University of Toronto (2
 004) and the Perloff Professor at UCLA (2002). He has held faculty pos
 itions at Princeton, RISD, and Ohio State University. \nBorn in Bosto
 n, MA, Nicolai Ouroussoff received a bachelor’s degree in Russian fr
 om Georgetown University and a master’s degree from the Columbia Uni
 versity Graduate School of Architecture. The protégé of the late Her
 bert Muschamp, Ouroussoff replaced his mentor as New York Times archit
 ecture critic from 2004. He wrote the newspaper's obituary for Muscham
 p in 2007. Previously, Ouroussoff had been the architecture critic for
  the Los Angeles Times, for which he was a nominated finalist for a Pu
