January’s Boston CreativeMornings event is Friday, January 27th at 8:30 AM.
Tickets will be available Monday, January 23rd, starting at 7:00 AM.
Our January presenters are Daren Bascome and Peter Herman
These two gentlemen know a lot about a great cup of coffee (and origami). Peter Herman and Daren Bascome are creators of the Compleat
cup, an ingenious disposable coffee cup that doesn't need a plastic lid. They’ll share with us insights about product design, how an architect’s idea was brought to life by a designer, and their mission to entice folks to ditch sippy cups (and that extra plastic) and instead “fill, fold and drink.”
Peter Herman, AIA, is an architect by trade for the last 25 years, with a longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship and the responsible use of materials. He currently works at Ellenzweig, an architectural firm based in Cambridge.
Daren Bascome is founder ofProverb, an award-winning global brand-building agency in Boston, and has been named as “one of the most sought-after designers in Boston” by the Boston Globe. A former director of the Massachusetts College of Art Foundation Board, he is currently the overseer of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
Breakfast is generously sponsored by our sponsor 48HourPrint.com. 48HourPrint.com is a leading online printing firm offering high-quality printing and mailing services to graphic designers, small businesses, and nonprofits that value quality, speed, and affordable prices. They offer 40 products, including posters, business cards, postcards, brochures, greeting cards, calendars, pocket folders, and booklets, all backed by the firm’s 48 Hour Turnaround Guarantee.
Meeting space is generously provided by Space With a Soul
, a shared workspace for non-profits. The goal of Space with a Soul is to help organizations allocate more time and money to mission, rather than operations. They achieve that goal by providing shared office space, developing shared services, and engaging companies with a track record of work with the nonprofit community to provide affordable services to their nonprofits. Space with a Soul calls what they do “Mission Acceleration”.
