Decision Made! Design Museum Boston @ WIT

Bright eyed and bushy tailed the group was together again and in full force with Sam and Derek back in the mix. With a few more days to mature, all the topic ideas were given their final pitch. With so many great ideas and great presentations the pending decision to pick just one was looming over the group. Swimming in choices Sam took control and was able to flush out two solid topics for the exhibit incorporating a substantial number of the options at hand.

With two very different but equally compelling exhibit topics to choose from the group faced a clear win/win. There was a, relatively, brief pros and cons discussion and with no clear consensus it was put to a vote. After the vote the consensus was made clear with a winner by a landslide. Design Museum Boston @ WIT is proud to announce this summer’s upcoming exhibit will be on, drum roll please………..Product Lifecycle.

The group recognizes that the topic is quite broad and feels that is a great opportunity to educate everyone. From designers to consumers, from those who create raw materials to those who manage the waste we all play our role in the lifecycle of any given product. Knowing there is a lot of work ahead the group takes on their own roles and responsibilities for phase one and get excited to get cracking.

Come back and see where we go next and continue to follow our process throughout this project here on designmuseumboston.org. Also if you want to share ideas with DMB or the WIT kids contact use on Facebook or Twitter (#witstudio).
