Design Museum Boston @ WIT Week 2

                The project officially kicked off this week as the students split up into several different teams that focus on different tasks involved in creating an exhibit, such as exhibit content, graphic design, fund raising and site scouting. Everyone around the studio is very excited about the project and eager to move forward. The separate groups have been meeting frequently inside and outside of studio to discuss and plan as well as gather resources for the exhibit.

 

            Today, the students began to examine existing exhibits in and around Boston for inspiration. This will grant us valuable insight into the world of exhibits as well as teach us what a good exhibit needs, and what a bad exhibit doesn’t.
